Walk out the door for an adventure on the Molly Stark Trail during the winter season and beach side on Woodford Lake during the summer. Woodford State Park is 3 miles from the cottage. Woodford State Park is popular for hiking and standup paddling boarding during the warmer months and for snowshoeing and cross-country skiing during winter. Numerous breweries close by. Gourmet dining and designer outlets are a close drive to Manchester, Vermont. Spend a day skiing on the slopes at nearby ski resorts: Prospect, Mount Snow, Stratton, Bromley, Magic Mountain, or Okemo.
Located in Bennington, this cottage is in a rural area and on a river. Robert Frost Stone House Museum and Bennington Potters Yard are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Prospect Mountain Nordic Ski Center and Prospect Mountain Cross-Country Ski Center. Take in the nearby slopes with snowboarding and skiing, or check out other outdoor activities such as snowmobiling.
