After graduating from Granada Hills High School, Michael received his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California, San Diego in La Jolla, California in 1994. Michael completed his graduate training in Physical Therapy and received his Master of Science from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 2000.

Michael has worked for Orlin and Cohen Orthopedic Associates in Rockville Centre, N.Y.. He began with Orlin and Cohen Orthopedics as a physical therapy aide in 1996 and was hired as a physical therapist in 2000. He was responsible for the evaluation and treatment of all orthopedic diagnoses.

In 2002, Michael became the Director of Physical Therapy and co-owner of Healthtech Associates in Merrick, N.Y.. In 2003, Michael and his wife Kelly opened Bellmore Physical Therapy. Michael has always been involved and interested in the care of injured athletes. He has participated in numerous recreational sports leagues around Long Island and has seen his share of orthopedic injuries. Michael has worked in a variety of different practices and has extensive experience treating injured athletes.

Michael is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association. He has instructed and supervised physical therapy students.

Michael, his wife and three son's presently reside in Wantagh, N.Y..
