He is always available to answer phone calls, trek out to scope out properties by himself if required, and give honest and detailed feedback to his customers in order to make an educated decision on a significant life event. I worked with Derek to buy multiple high-end properties in the Pacific Northwest in the past year or so. It was great to be able to pick up the phone and talk to him about concerns or ideas and he never took it personally as he seemed genuinely concerned with what the customer needed. I took advantage of this on a daily basis if desired. The other nice thing about using Derek is he can work to cover other appointments that are important to you, like home inspections, appraisals, personal showings of the house, or anything else that's important to you and on your schedule, not necessarily theirs. Additionally, Derek will be honest with you if he thinks somebody in a very specific market can be of better assistance to you, nobody I know is that honest when he will lose a sale, but he is. I told him I refused to let someone else get the sale and it actually did not happen, but he was willing to lose the sale in order for me to get a better deal and direct attention from the seller. In my opinion, which is based on selling and buying multiple media to high-end properties in the Pacific Northwest, you will not be able to beat the overall atmosphere, customer-first attitude, and unparalleled expertise in that region.
