Restaurant Description
Manchester is a long way from Thailand, but Manee Thai creates a palpable link to that lush Southeast Asian corner of the world. Subtly lighted, its air is punctuated with delicate and exotic cooking scents. Many of the Thai-speaking patrons exchange pleasantries with the staff in their native language. Stunning photographs and artifacts from the region seal the connection. The simple elegance of the decor carries over to the beautifully prepared, beautifully presented food. Diners at this restaurant are ordered from an easy-to-follow menu, choosing from among noodle and rice dishes and various entrees. Curries and stir-fried meals are well-represented. Dishes are marked by degree of spiciness, but the kitchen aims to please and adjusts the heat according to individual preferences. Manee Thai also serves vegetarian dishes. Manee Thai offers friendly service and excellent Thai food in a pleasant authentic environment.
