Working Together Towards a Better World

The world around us is facing great challenges. Poverty, lack of education, lack of proper sanitation and housing facilities, underemployment and many more. Therefore, it is the responsibility of those holding power to be accountable and work towards the upliftment of the people and ease their sufferings. Funding or finance of project in South Asia, SAARC is one such step towards facing the challenges and helping the people of our region. It’s a co-financing project in South Asia, SAARC which works diligently towards improving the life and living standards of the people of Asia. SAARC, founded by 7 countries namely Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, the Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka while Afghanistan joined in 2007.

Together, these countries seek cooperation from each other in promoting culture, tourism, science and technology, education and to increase health welfare and environmental efforts in the region. Helping agricultural development is also one of the primary focus of the association as the economy of most of these countries are dependent on agriculture. Therefore, there is a demand for sharing. SAARC development fund in South Asia, SAARC and SDF merged together is a positive step in the right direction, promoting a brotherhood of men and uniting neighboring countries for uplifting the people of the region and to work together to make the region less challenging and problematic for the billions of people calling it their home.

The main aim of the merger is to accelerate economic growth and the efforts have been hugely successful. From funding building hospitals around the impoverished regions to create health care facilities with proper medical assistance given to the poor people, the association has helped to minimize the problems, challenges and seeks to alleviate poverty in the region altogether. Social development impact of project in South Asia, SAARC and the SDF are prime examples of the international community working together to create a better future for the next generation instead of bickering wars against each other and encouraging the politics of hatred.

The world needs a united front now more than ever, and it is the duty of our leaders to create and present that front, to assure the people that their voices are being heard. The development fund created by South Asia is an exemplary association which other countries should follow and try to make the world a peaceful and flourishing place once again. So, let us join our hands and strive to create a world that is beautiful and peaceful for everyone.
