Directly on beautiful, clear water, 5500 acre Crooked Lake. Swim, jet ski, fish or just layback and view the breathtaking sunsets. Many believe Crooked Lake to be one of the best lakes in Florida, being one of just three lakes designated by the State of Florida as 'Special and Outstanding Waters'. Crooked Lake is nestled in the Florida ridge 'highlands', in a valley next to the highest land in the State. Crooked Lake is well known for hosting bass tournaments & Winter Speckled Perch (Crappie) fishing is great - some of the best in Florida. Pristine, clear water (rare in Florida lakes) is great for swimming or boating. Crooked Lake is a deep water 20 to 30 ft lake. Winter visitors welcome. We will consider small pets under 20 lbs with a maximum of two (2) pets, with an extra fee required. Central Florida location, only a short drive to all theme parks, Disney, Sea World, Universal Studios, and 20 minutes from Legoland, and Florida's white sandy beaches. Babson Park is a quaint little town, near Lake Wales, with shopping, restaurants, and antiquing. Numerous golf courses located nearby.
