Macquarie Street Physiotherapy is a long established practice in the heart of Sydney’s CBD. We offer expertise and experience in our treatment of the professional and residential population of the city. We treat neck and back pain, sports and other injuries, headaches and dizziness. We provide rehabilitation following surgery. We assist patients with arthritic & other conditions, giving advice, exercises and treatment as needed. We advise clients in specific and general exercise & sports technique, as well as education relating to posture and core. We offer core stability and tai chi small group classes as well as 1:1 sessions. All of our physiotherapists have post graduate qualifications and many years of experience. We pride ourselves in making a thorough assessment before deciding which treatment is appropriate. There has been significant progress in the medical world regarding management of pain and conditions through movement and exercise in order to avoid surgery if possible. We consider this a very important part of our approach to patient care, rather than only providing passive treatment. We keep in touch with doctors and other health professionals involved in our patients’ care. From the start to the end of a problem, the physiotherapists at Macquarie Street will take a keen interest in your progress. At the practice we also have a podiatrist, orthotist, nutritionist/naturopath and massage therapist, all of whom are available to assist as necessary.
