The Farm Stand Cottage is just perfect for a quick easy getaway to the river! The Farm Stand was once a fruit stand used by a local farmer and was brought to this special spot, then retrofitted into a glamping cottage(*dry unit). This spot is located just down the river from the rapids and offers the most outrageously spectacular water sounds. Fall asleep listening to the rushing rapids of the French Broad River and wake up to them too! A sprawling covered porch with tin roof gives you that feeling of rustic living and makes for a great afternoon even it's raining. The comfy queen bed, kitchenette, and dining area make the inside feel cozy and modern. A well-maintained portable toilet is adjacent to the Farm Stand and The Bathhouse is an easy walk down river about 170 feet. It is the closest cottage(*dry unit) to the camp area, conveniently located for when your friends like to camp
but you want a soft bed.

Camp Driftwood Asheville is located on Old Marshall Highway-AKA River Rd. The Camp spans a third of a mile of river frontage along the French Broad River and allows guests access to unique spaces on the river-right from the property. Swim, fish, paddle, or tube the Ancient River. Enjoy one of the most popular road biking sections in the area-right from the property. Ride for miles with the River as your guide! We only offer tent camping-we cannot host Campers or RV's. Camp Driftwood is not appropriate for small children. Guests 12 and under need prior management approval.
Located in Buncombe County, this cottage is on the waterfront. Biltmore Estate and Vance Birthplace are local landmarks, and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Marshall Nature Sanctuary and Pisgah National Forest. Ready for a night out? Consider Harrah's Cherokee Center - Asheville and The Orange Peel. Kayaking and water tubing offer great chances to get out on the surrounding water, or you can seek out an adventure with horse riding and hunting nearby.
