The housing statistics are in for July. The following is based on Abingdon MD. It is a mixed bag of news. I have pulled all of my statistics from MRIS.

First lets start with the total dollar volume. In 2009 for July there was $10,600,921 sold dollar volume. In 2010 it was down to $6,698,200. Now wait there is much more to look at than that. I will give you all of the stats so you can form your own opinion.

The average sales price was up 5.31% from $235,576 to $248,081. The units sold were down 40% from 45 to 27. However, the average days on the market went down from 95 to 86.
